EXCEPTIONS TO LIABILITY

  • Loss, damage or delay to any goods due to an Act of God or inherent vice.
  • Damage to fragile items that are not packed or cartons that are packed by the customer.
  • Damage to electronic or mechanical item, unless the customer provides the carrier with certification of working condition.
  • Damage or deterioration of perishable foods, plants or pets.
  • Damage to or loss of a complete set or unit when only part of each set is damaged or loss; in which event the carrier shall only be liable for repair or replacement of the lost or damaged piece.
  • Carrier is not responsible for items of extraordinary value ($3000.00 or more) unless by prior special agreement that is listed on the Bill of Lading.
